It is situated at an altitude of 1,677m in Ilam district and is famous for the splendid views of Mt. Everest and Mt. Kanchenjunga that it commands. One can also view the hills of Darjeeling, Khersang, and Mirik from Here.

You can reach Chhipitar from Ilam by a motorable road and from there Antu Danda can be reached in four hours walking.

It is one of the best places for sunrise and sunset viewing. It is a part of eastern zone of Nepal.
