The second largest city of Nepal, Biratnagar has some of the largest industrial undertakings in the country.


There are a couple of pilgrimage sports in Dharan and Barachachhetra nearby the city. Biratnagar is linked with Kathmandu by air and road.

Biratnagar is in terai region of Nepal at 70m above sea level. This city is best transit point to the Kosi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, Dharan, Dhankuta, Hile and the surrounding trekking areas.


Biratnagar is not much interesrting for tourists but Biratnagar is an important center for flights in eastern part of Nepal.
