Dhulikhel Travel Guide

This ancient town is situated 30km east of Kathmandu on the side of the Arniko Arjmarga (Kathmandu-Kodari Highway).

The Newar town of Dhulikehl offers a traditional atmosphere along with spectacular views. Once an inportant link in the ancient trade route to Tibet.

Dhulikhel has a glorious past which can be seen in the lovely buildings and intricate wood carvings in the shop-lined streets and temples. Plesant climate (even during summer) is big attraction at dhulikehl.

It is a lovely place famous for its scenic beauty and old tradition. From here one can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges. Many options for half/full day hikings are possible from Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is also famous for its sun-rise and sun-set views on clear days.
